Vol. 37 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - McVeagh Estate, Athboy (Meath).

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state if and when he proposes to acquire the McVeagh Estate, Drewstown, Athboy, for division.

The Deputy appears to refer to the holding of Major McVeagh, containing 52 acres in the townland of Drewstown Little on the Estate of W. L. Naper, which is the subject of proceedings under the Land Act, 1923. As this holding appears to be the only land now held by Major McVeagh the Land Commission do not propose to acquire it.
