Vol. 38 No. 19

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Division of Metge Estate, Meath.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state when he proposes to divide the Metge Estate (the Alexandraide portion).

The lands of Alexander Reid, the property of Mr. Metge, have been gazetted under the provisions of the Land Act, 1923, with a view to their acquisition. The owner's objection to their acquisition is at present pending before the Land Commission, consequently, it is not possible to state when these lands, if acquired, will be divided.
