Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Co. Clare Old Age Pension.

(An Clár) asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if an old age pension was granted to Laurence Williams, Lack, Ballynacally, County Clare, in or about the year 1925; and if he is in a position to state what circumstances influenced his Department to give a favourable decision in the case.

The applicant fulfilled the conditions as regards age, means and residence. The appeal against the claim was on the ground of nationality. The Minister considered that the claimant fulfilled the qualification in this respect.
