Vol. 40 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Pension Committee Clerks.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state when it is proposed to give effect to the recommendation of the Old Age Pension Committee of Inquiry that Clerks to Pension Committees should be paid salaries instead of fees, and the basis on which the scale of remuneration is being arranged.

Salaries for the Clerks to Old Age Pensions Committees and Sub-Committees have been determined and will be paid with effect as from the 1st October, 1931. The salaries, which will be payable quarterly, are based on the fees paid to the clerks during the period from the 1st April, 1925, to the 31st March, 1928.
