Vol. 40 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Division of Ballybunion Estate.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state when the lands of Ballyconery, Ballybunion, North Kerry— Estate of Eyre Stack—will be divided amongst the local uneconomic holders; will the Minister say if the estate has been surveyed, valued and reported on at least a dozen times by the Land Commission inspectors; and if he will say definitely if it is intended to divide the estate; and, if so, when.

The Land Commission are not at present in a position to state when the lands at Ballyconery, on the estate of Eyre Massey Stack, will be available for division. The lands have been published in a Provisional List and proceedings for acquisition are still in progress and will be completed as early as possible.
