Vol. 40 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Acquisition of Tipperary Estate.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if a price has been offered for the lands on the Greenfields (Bagwell Purefoy) estate at Cappawhite (County Tipperary), and if the owner has objected to same; if he will state the price per statute acre offered, and if the objection to the price has been heard; if he will, in view of the urgency of the matter, expedite the acquisition and division of these lands.

The Land Commission have made an offer to Captain Purefoy for the purchase of lands at Greenfields which he is not prepared to accept. The question of an increased price is at present under consideration.
