Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Acquisition of Strokes town Lands.

Mr. Boland

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if it is intended to acquire the lands of Doonard Beg and Doonmurrahoe, Estate of Mr. John Murray, Carntryla, Strokestown, Co. Roscommon, for distribution amongst the small land holders in the district, there being 35 such with valuations ranging from £4 10s. to £10.

The Land Commission do not propose to acquire the lands of Doonard Beg and Dunmurraghoe, formerly the property of Mr. John Murray.
