Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Employment in Dublin Building Trades.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state the number unemployed in each of the undermentioned trades in the City and County of Dublin at the latest date for which returns are available, together with the numbers unemployed in these trades on the nearest corresponding dates in the years 1930 and 1931:— bricklayers, carpenters, plasterers, painters, stonecutters, plumbers and builders' labourers.

The number of persons in the trades mentioned registered as unemployed at employment exchanges in the area of Dublin City and County on 7th April, 1930, the 7th April, 1931, and the 4th April, 1932, these being the latest corresponding dates in respect of which the information is available, are as follows:—

7th April, 1930.

7th April, 1931.

4th April, 1932.
