Money Resolution. - In Committee on Finance.

The Dáil went into Committee on Finance.

I move: That for the purpose of any Act of the present Session to amend the Shannon Electricity Act, 1925, and the Electricity (Supply) Acts, 1927 to 1931, it is expedient to authorise:—

(a) the payments out of the Central Fund or the growing produce thereof into a separate fund established under the Shannon Electricity Act, 1925, as amended by such Act of the present Session of advances not exceeding in the aggregate six million one hundred and seventy thousand pounds:

(b) the advance out of the Central Fund or the growing produce thereof of such sums not exceeding in the aggregate two million three hundred and sixty-five thousand pounds, as the Minister for Industry and Commerce shall from time to time certify to be reasonably and properly required by the Electricity Supply Board for any purpose arising in the performance of its functions under the Electricity (Supply) Acts 1927 to 1931. and such Act of the present Session.
