Housing (Financial and Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill, 1932—Money Resolution. - In Committee on Finance.

Resolved:—
That for the purpose of any Act of the present session to make further and better provision for the financial assistance of local authorities and others in the erection and reconstruction of dwelling houses, to ensure the supply of building materials and appliances at reasonable prices, and for those and other purposes to amend the Housing of the Working Classes Acts, 1890 to 1931, the Labourers Acts, 1883 to 1931, the Housing Acts, 1925 to 1930, and the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1931, and to make provision for other matters connected with the matters aforesaid, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by the Oireachtas of:—
(a) grants subject to the limitations and conditions specified in such Act;
(b) contributions not exceeding the amounts and for periods not exceeding the periods specified in such Act; and
(c) any other expenses not otherwise provided for incurred in carrying into effect such Act.— (Minister for Education (Mr. Derrig).)
