Vol. 43 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Saorstát Exports to Dominions.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state for the last twelve months for which figures are available, the value of the Saorstát exports to (1) South Africa (2) Canada (3) Australia and (4) New Zealand, and over the same period, the value of the imports from these countries into the Saorstát, distinguishing the most important trade items in each case.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state the value of the imports and exports trade between the Saorstát and Southern Rhodesia for the last twelve months for which figures are available, and if he will distinguish the chief items of such trade.

I propose to take Nos. 7 and 8 together. As the reply contains a good deal of statistical matter I am circulating with the Official Report the information which the Deputy asks.
