Vol. 46 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Land Division in Tipperary.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state the area of land divided under the Land Acts in County Tipperary for the twelve months ended 28th February, 1933, and if any land has been divided, if he will state the districts in which such land has been divided and the number of tenants provided thereby.

During the period of 12 months ended the 28th February, 1933, a total area of 2,064 acres was divided by the Land Commission in County Tipperary under the Land Acts, 1923-31, among 98 allottees who were put into possession of their parcels. These lands were situate on 14 different estates distributed all over the county.

Does the Minister state where the estates are situated?

It would take a long time to get them all out.

Surely the Minister will answer the question?
