I regret that I am unable to answer this question. As the Deputy is aware, it is not the practice to anticipate the Budget statements.
Is the Minister aware of the importance of this matter to those who may intend to prepare now for the sowing of tobacco? Is he aware of its importance in that respect and does he know that the people want to know where they stand in the matter of tobacco sowing as early as possible in the season? Does the Minister know that a county agricultural committee requires an answer to this question.
