Vol. 46 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Development Proposals by Zoological Society.

asked the Minister for Finance if any proposals have been made on an approved basis by the Zoological Society, Phoenix Park, for the employment of a number of men on a development scheme; whether such proposals have been considered, and if so, whether steps will be taken to expedite the work.

Proposals for a development scheme have been submitted by the Royal Zoological Society with an application for a grant from relief funds to cover the expenditure involved. As, however, there are other and more important works still under consideration, the proposals have been deferred.
