The Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Act, 1932, authorised additional grants for the relief of rates as shown in Column 3. This relief was equivalent to 2s. in the £ approximately (or to 75% of the rate as shown in Column 3, where 2s. in the £ would be more than 75% of this rate) in the case of occupiers of holdings up to a rateable valuation of £10, and to the same amount as to the first £10 of valuations exceeding £10. |
