Vol. 46 No. 13

Order of Business.

I propose to take the business as on the Order Paper up to 4 o'clock. Then it is proposed to take the Estimates. The Minister for Industry and Commerce will not be able to be present until after 4 o'clock. After 4 o'clock I propose to take the Road Transport Bill, 1933, and then go on with Nos. 8 and 9. It is proposed to have an interval between 6.30 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. to allow the Minister for Industry and Commerce to get a rest at that period. It is also proposed in the coming week that the Dáil should sit on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, that is, if it seems to be necessary to get through the business.

Would the President state what business will be taken during the interval 6.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m.?

The Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) Bill, 1933, and then the Damage to Property (Compensation) Amendment Bill, 1933.

Would the President say if it is proposed to hold a session on Holy Week—the week after next?

No, I do not think there is any intention to sit that week.

So we sit four days next week and no day the week after.

Yes, unless there is a complete urgency of public business, we will not sit on the week after.
