Vol. 46 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Division of Massey Stack Estate (Kerry).

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state what progress, if any, has been made by the Land Commission towards the division of the Massey Stack Estate amongst the uneconomic holders and landless people of Ballyconry, County Kerry.

The Land Commission have issued an offer for the purchase of the untenanted lands of Ballyconry containing 110a. 3r. 9p.; Mweevoe containing 129a. 2r. 32p.; and Toohara containing 82a. 0r. 20p. on the estate of Eyre Massey Stack, but the owner is not prepared to accept the offer. In consequence it has been decided to fix and publish the price in accordance with the Land Act, 1923.
