5. The amounts of accumulated interest on the several Accounts at the end of the Financial Year were as follows:—

6. The sums paid into the Purchase Annuities Fund Suspense Account were appropriated on 31st March, 1933, as Miscellaneous Revenue pursuant to the Land (Purchase Annuities Fund) Act, 1933. The sums paid into the other Accounts were repaid, during the period from 20th to 29th March, to the accounts at the Paymaster-General's Office of the several services from which they had been drawn, thus reducing by equivalent amounts the Exchequer issues for those services in the said period.
