Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Unemployment in Dublin.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state the numbers unemployed in the City and County of Dublin on the 31st of March last (or nearest date) and also on the corresponding date in 1932 in the following trades:—Carpenters, bricklayers, stonecutters, plasterers, painters, plumbers and builders' labourers.

The number of persons in the trades mentioned registered as unemployed at the offices of my Department in the area of Dublin City and County on the 3rd April, 1933, and the 4th April, 1932, these being the nearest corresponding dates in respect of which the information is available, are as follows:—
