Vol. 47 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Forestry Plantation at Dunmanway.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he can now indicate when the transfer of the proposed forestry plantation at Aultagh, Dunmanway, Co. Cork, will take place, and whether in view of the amount of unemployment in the district he will expedite the preliminary work on the plantation.

Dr. Ryan

Satisfactory evidence of the title of the vendors to the lands of Aultagh, Dunmanway, has not yet been furnished to the Department, and in the circumstances it is not at present possible to state when the transfer of the property will take place. As soon as possession has been secured, preliminary forestry operations will be commenced.
