Vol. 47 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Skibbereen Pension Claim.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state the precise reasons why he has refused to sanction an old age pension to Daniel Brien residing in the Skibbereen Rural District (No. in Sub-Committee's Register 4419 and No. in Pensions Officer's Register 1314).

An appeal was decided on 20th April, 1933, when it was determined that Daniel Brien, Raheen, Nyross, Union Hall, Skibbereen (No. in Sub-Committee's Register 4419) was not entitled to an old age pension, as it was not considered on the evidence furnished that his means, as calculated under the Old Age Pensions Acts, were within the statutory limit for the receipt of a pension.
