Vol. 47 No. 18

Ceisteanna.—Questions. Oral Answers. - Mayo Old Age Pension Claim.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state the cause of the delay in deciding the appeal of Mary Ruane, Gortduff, Scardane, Co. Mayo, against the decision of the Ballindine subcommittee disallowing her claim for an old age pension on the ground of insufficient evidence of age, and if he is aware that Mrs. Ruane's age was found in Lehinch N.S. and was forwarded with her appeal to the Appeals Branch, Department of Local Government and Public Health last November.

It has been determined that the claimant is entitled to a pension of 7/- a week as from the 19th September last.
