Vol. 49 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Illegal Trawling.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state what steps are being taken to put an end to illegal trawling.

The necessary powers for this purpose are being taken in the Sea Fisheries Protection Bill, 1933, which has already been introduced, and which it is hoped to bring forward for Second Reading within the next two or three weeks.

Mr. Lynch

Will the Parliamentary Secretary say when the Bill to which he refers will be circulated?

As early as possible.
