asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will state what regulations govern the acceptance of the broadcast advertisements of foreign goods competing with Irish products.
Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Foreign Goods Broadcast Advertisements.
No specific regulations have been formulated in the matter, as it is considered necessary that all proposals for the broadcasting of advertisements should be considered individually according to the circumstances in each case. It is not the practice, however, to accept advertisements of imported products which are likely to compete effectively with similar Saorstát products.
