Vol. 50 No. 9

In Committee on Finance. - Acquisition of Land (Allotments) (Amendment) Bill, 1934—Money Resolution.

I move:—

That, as regards any Act of the present Session to amend the Acquisition of Land (Allotments) Act, 1926, for the purpose of facilitating the provision of allotments for unemployed persons, to authorise the making of grants out of public moneys for the like purpose, to amend the said Act in other respects, and to make provision for other matters connected with the matters aforesaid, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by the Oireachtas of any grants made and any other expenses incurred (being expenses which are required by such Act to be paid out of moneys provided by the Oireachtas) in carrying such Act into effect.

Could the Minister give the House any estimate of the cost of this?

Dr. Ryan

£6,500.
