Vol. 52 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Destruction of Dance Platforms.

asked the Minister for Justice if he will state whether he has received a report that a concrete dance platform on the road at Tucusheens, Kilpatrick, Bandon, was maliciously destroyed; and if he will state whether the persons guilty of this offence have been identified and charged.

asked the Minister for Justice if he has received a report that a dancing platform at Killarney, Thomastown, County Kilkenny, was maliciously destroyed by fire; and if he will state whether the persons guilty of this offence have been identified and charged.

I propose to take questions Nos. 3 and 4 together. The answer to the first part of the question in each case is in the affirmative. No persons have been charged in either case.

Is the Minister aware that a week has passed since these occurrences and can he say if inquiries are being pursued by the Guards in both cases?

Inquiries are still being pursued.
