Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Incidents in the Country.

asked the Minister for Justice if he will state whether the persons who made an armed attack on a number of persons in Cliffoney, County Sligo, on the night of the 28th-29th April, have since been identified and charged with the offence.

asked the Minister for Justice if he will state whether the armed men who maliciously burned the Cornofean Hall, near Arva, have yet been identified and charged; and if he will state how many persons have been so charged.

asked the Minister for Justice if he will state whether the persons who maliciously destroyed a dancing platform at Killarney, Thomastown, County Kilkenny, have yet been identified and charged.

asked the Minister for Justice if he will state whether the persons who maliciously destroyed a concrete dance platform on the road at Tucusheens, Kilpatrick, Bandon, have yet been identified and charged.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 together. I have nothing to add to the replies which I gave to questions upon these matters asked recently by the same Deputy.

Arising out of the Minister's reply to Question 14, he refers me now to a question in reply to which he stated that the police had no information as to the people guilty of these offences; that no information had been given to the police and, apart from the fact that this occurrence took place——

By mistake I included Question 14 with the others. As regards Question 14, my reply was that as summonses are being issued against certain persons in the case, I do not think it proper to make any statement.
