There were no cottages provided under the Act in County Monaghan up to the year ended 31st March last, and the same applies to the Northern and Southern areas of County Cork.
The rent of 3/6 fixed by the Sligo Board of Health and Public Assistance is for cottages at Ballysodare and has not yet been sanctioned. I am awaiting information as to the exact circumstances of the selected tenants who are stated to be millworkers, well-paid and able to bear the rent proposed.
