Vol. 53 No. 17

Supplementary Estimates.

Leave given to introduce the following Supplementary Estimates for the Services of the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1935, namely: Votes Nos. 11 (Public Works and Buildings), and 52 (Agriculture) — (Minister for Finance).

When will these Estimates be circulated?

To-morrow, I think.

Can we have any idea what these Votes are for, in view of the fact that these Estimates will not be circulated until to-morrow?

One is for the Slaughter of Cattle and Sheep Bill; the other is for the erection of a monument in the Dublin General Post Office.

Could the Minister say what is the amount of the Supplementary Estimate for Agriculture?

I cannot give the exact figures.

Does it run into thousands?

It runs into hundreds of thousands; it is about £305,000.
