Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Purchase and Withdrawal of Savings Certificates.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state for each of the years 1929, 1930, 1931, 1932, 1933 and 1934 (to latest date for which returns are available) (a) the amount of savings certificates purchased and (b) the amount of such certificates withdrawn.

Information in regard to sales and repayments of savings certificates is not readily available by reference to calendar years. The figures over the period beginning with the financial year 1929-30 are in a tabular statement, which will be included in the Official Report.
