asked the Minister for Justice if he will furnish a return showing for each of the years 1925 to 1934 the number of days on which each of the following courts sat:—(a) the Court of Criminal Appeal; (b) the Central Criminal Court; (c) the Dublin Circuit Court (for criminal matters), and (d) the other Circuit Courts (for criminal matters).

The following are the returns:—

The figures in brackets represent the number of days on which a single judge sat to hear interlocutory applications under Section 7 of the Courts of Justice Act, 1928 (No. 15 of 1928). The other figures represent the number of days on which the full Court of Criminal Appeal sat.
