The position is as indicated in a letter addressed to the Deputy by my Department on the 27th March last. The plans submitted required to be revised and were returned to the consulting engineer for the purpose. I understand that it is desired to provide in the scheme for a water supply for some adjoining districts as well as Piltown and that the preparation of a revised scheme on those is presenting technical difficulties which it may take some time to overcome.
