Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Orange Imports.
The value of oranges to which the Control of Imports (Quota No. 17) Order, 1935, refers, imported into Saorstát Eireann during the year ended 31st December, 1933, was £278,999 and the year ended 31st December, 1934, was £285,557.
Oranges are not subject to any Customs duty at present, neither have they been subject to any Customs duty at any time since the 1st January, 1933. The last part of the question does not, therefore, arise.
