asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state the number of orphan children under 14 years of age who were (a) inmates of public institutions, and (b) boarded-out by such institutions on January 1st, 1935.
I propose to reply to questions Nos. 2 and 3 together. It is regretted that it is not possible from the records available to furnish the information in the form desired by the Deputy. A return is, however, being obtained from the local authorities concerned, and the information will be sent to the Deputy as soon as possible.
