Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Employment in Farm Work.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state the total number of males engaged in farm work in each county in June, 1934, under the headings (1) males 14-18 years (a) permanent workers, members of family; (b) permanent workers, others; (c) temporarily employed. (2) males 18 years and over (a) permanent workers, members of family; (b) permanent workers, others; (c) temporarily employed, and (3) total number of males.

I am circulating with the Official Report a table containing the desired information.

Following is the table:—

Numbers of Males engaged in Farm Work in each County in Saorstát Éireann at 1st June, 1934, as compiled from Returns furnished by the Enumerators of Agricultural Statistics.
