Vol. 61 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Acquisition of Wicklow Estate.

asked the Minister for Lands whether he is aware that there is a considerable local demand that the land advertised for sale, by the representatives of the late Mrs. Dowling, Knockrobbin, Wicklow, should be acquired by the Land Commission and made available for the use of local congests and landless men in the area.

As a result of representations made for the acquisition of the estate of Mrs. Ruth Dowling, Knockrobbin, County Wicklow, the Land Commission propose to have an inspection made with a view to ascertaining the suitability of the lands comprised in this estate for acquisition and division. Steps will be taken to expedite the completion of this inspection.
