Vol. 61 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Claims under Shannon Fisheries Act.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state (1) when it is proposed to deal under the Shannon Fisheries Act, 1935, with claims where the amounts have not been agreed on, and (2) whether any rules as to reference to arbitration of unagreed claims under the Act have been made.

I have no function in the matter of claims under the Shannon Fisheries Act, 1935, which is one for the Electricity Supply Board. The Act provides the manner of dealing with claims, including references to arbitration. I understand that all of the claims that have arisen so far are actively engaging attention.
