Vol. 61 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Export Bounties on Cattle and Horses.

asked the Minister for Finance if it is intended to restore the bounties on the export of cattle and horses at an early date, and, if so, if he will state on what date.

Unless unforeseen circumstances arise, it is not proposed to restore these bounties.

Will the Minister not agree that the prospects at present are such as would warrant the restoration of these bounties on the export of cattle and horses, that is to say, the bounties that were paid last year, or is there any reason for withdrawing these bounties?

I think the answer I have already given covers all aspects of this question.
