Vol. 61 No. 15

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Imports of Wool Flock and Cotton Flock.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state in respect of the last five years for which the figures are available the quantities of (a) wool flock and (b) cotton flock imported from Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and the value of such imports.

Imports of wool flock and cotton flock are not required by the official import list to be separately declared, and prior to May, 1935, imports of flock of all kinds were not entirely separable from imports of textile materials described under general headings. From May to December, 1935, the imports of all kinds of flock amounted to 2,337 cwt., value £3,604.
