Vol. 62 No. 13

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take items Nos. 2 to 7, inclusive, on the Order Paper, No. 6 to be taken after No. 7. It is not proposed to interrupt Public Business for the purpose of taking Private Deputies business.

Would the Vice President say if any decision has been come to by the Government regarding the provision of further time for discussion of the motion relating to the Employment Period Order?

No decision has been come to.

Will the Vice-President say whether or not the matter will be considered with a view to affording further time in the near future?

I understand that the matter is being discussed in the usual way with the officers of the different Parties.

That is not so.

It is a matter for the Parties concerned to raise.

Raise where?

Through the usual channels or at the Committee on Procedure and Privileges.

Would the Vice-President indicate the business to be taken on Tuesday and Wednesday next. I take it that it is proposed to sit on only two days next week.

I cannot indicate the business to be taken at the moment. The House will sit on only two days next week.
