Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Pensions and Children's Allowances.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state the number of persons to whom pensions and children's allowances on (a) a contributory basis, and (b) a non-contributory basis, have been granted, and the annual cost of the pensions and allowances under each head.

The number of widows' pensions (including children's allowances) and orphans' pensions (a) contributory and (b) non-contributory awarded up to the 10th July, 1936, and the annual cost there of are as follows:
