NOTE.—In addition to the payments made to local authorities there was paid from the National Maternity and Child Welfare Grant in 1934-35, £12,531 10s. 10d. to 108 Voluntary Agencies operating approved Maternity and Child Welfare Schemes and £13,451 11s. 5d. in 1935-36 to 113 Voluntary Agencies.
