asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether he will state the total number of unemployment insurance books, distinguishing between men, women, boys and girls, exchanged in the insurance year 1935-36, the number of new books issued during the year, and the number of books current, and the number of books exchanged at the commencement of the insurance year 1936-37.

A statement will be circulated with the Official Report showing the number of unemployment insurance books exchanged, issued and current during the insurance year 1935-36, and the number of unemployment insurance books exchanged between the commencement of the insurance year 1936-37 and the 2nd November, 1936. These figures are preliminary and subject to revision.
