Supplementary Estimate—Local Government and Public Health.

I move:—

Go dtugaidh an Dáil cead chun go dtabharfaí isteach an Meastachán Breise so leanas i gcóir seirbhíse na bliana dar críoch an 31adh lá de Mhárta, 1937, eadhon:—

Vóta a—

41 (Rialtas Aitiúil agus Sláinte Puiblí).

That leave be given by the Dáil to introduce the following Supplementary Estimate for the service of the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1937, namely:—

41 (Local Government and Public Health).

What is the Estimate for?

It is a Supplementary Estimate for the expenses in connection with the tribunal to be established in reference to the Pearse Street fire, £350; and expenses in connection with the supply of beef to persons in receipt of home assistance and unemployment assistance, £40,000; for salaries, wages and allowances, £2,000 of an additional sum required, making a total of £42,350. Less saving and other sub-heads, £20,000. That makes a total of £22,350, the sum now required.
