Vol. 65 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Acquisition of Kildare Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands whether, in view of the acute congestion in the area, the Land Commission propose to acquire and divide the lands formerly owned by Mrs. O'Neill at Downings, Prosperous. County Kildare (Bury estate) and now occupied by Mr. Robert Watchhorn.

The lands referred to in the question would appear to be the lands of Goats-town adjacent to the townland of Downings, comprising 143 acres registered in the name of Miss Nancy Healy. The question as to what action may be taken regarding acquisition of these lands is under consideration by the Land Commission.
