Vol. 65 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Laoighis Labourers' Cottages.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he is aware that repeated representations have been made to the commissioner now administering the affairs of the Laoighis Board of Health to carry out necessary repairs to labourers' cottages; whether failure to carry out the repairs in many cases is due to the refusal of contractors to tender for such work, and if he will urge the commissioner concerned to have such essential work carried out immediately either by competent contractors or by direct labour under the supervision of skilled tradesmen.

No recent representations have been received in the Department regarding the matter.
