Under normal circumstances a reservist is paid in arrear, at the appropriate daily rate, on the Wednesday of each week during annual training. In addition, the first portion of the annual grant payable to class "A" reservists is paid on demobilisation from annual training. A class "B" reservist receives a service grant of £3 on termination of annual training.
