Vol. 69 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Definition of Batch Bread.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether his attention has been directed to the terms of District Justice Gleeson's judgment in the matter of a prosecution under the Bread Prices Order, as reported in the Press on Saturday, October 23rd, 1937; and whether, in view of this, he will take steps to clarify the definition of batch bread for the purposes of the above-mentioned order.

The justice has not yet delivered judgment in the case in question, and I will have the Deputy's suggestion considered if, in fact, it appears from the judgment that the definition of batch bread made in the Bread (Price) (No. 2) Order, 1937, is deficient.
