Written Answers. - Acquisition of Westmeath Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands if it is intended to acquire and divide the Killian estate situated at Rathcreevagh, Castlepollard, County Westmeath.

The lands in question appear to be comprised in the holding of Francis Killian containing 325 acres, 1 rood, 37 perches in the townland of Rathcreevagh, on the Pollard estate, County Westmeath, record No. S. 3114. There are no proceedings for the resumption of this holding but the question will be the subject of the usual inquiry by the Land Commission before the resale of the Pollard estate is completed.

asked the Minister for Lands if it is intended to acquire and divide the Potts estate situated at Goristown, Killucan, County Westmeath.

The question of the acquisition of the lands of Goristown Upper, Creggstown, Mylestown and Raharney in the occupation of William T. Potts is at present under consideration by the Land Commission.

asked the Minister for Lands if it is intended to acquire and divide the lands of Teerevin, Hope estate, County Westmeath.

The lands in question appear to comprise the holding of Christopher Hope containing 311 acres, 2 roods, 35 perches in the townland of Teerevin on the Fetherstonhaugh estate, County Westmeath, record No. S. 2292. The Land Commission have under consideration the question of the resumption of this holding and are making inquiries into the matter.
