Vol. 69 No. 19

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Matters in Dispute with British Government.

asked the Minister for External Affairs whether any proposal for having the matters in dispute with the British Government referred for determination to any international tribunal is under consideration, or whether any suggestion regarding such reference was made by either side, and, if so, whether he is in a position to make a statement in regard to the matter.

No proposal of the kind referred to by the Deputy has been made since 1932, nor is any such proposal now under consideration. The Deputy will remember the difficulties which occurred at that time.
